I have such a long story. It is basically the opposite of yours, but still shows how DOCS (NSW) cannot do thier Job. My son now 9 has lived a very mysterious life. I seperated from his mother when he was 18 months old. At the age of 3 he told my wife that his step father plays with his "diddle", We reported this to docs. They in turn talked to the mother she said some lie that there was a custody case going on and they stopped everything with no investigation.
3 Years later my son was reported to Docs by his school principle and a mother from the school as sexually assaulting other children at school. (I did not find out about this until 2 years later when i demanded his files through FOI act) The case was confirmed but nothing was done. No counselling nothing!
Now after I placed a complaint through the community services commisiion and DOCS were ordered to do a review on Jason situation. They say that there is still reason for concern as Jason still has contact with his step father ( even though the mother seperated from him) But then recommend that DOCS stay out of my sons life. Still my son is at risk and nothing is being done.
This is just the tip of the iceberg. When i went to go for custody of my son. Docs exaturated a complaint that i smacked jason and lied about what i said in phone conversations and then confirmed me on "Belting the shit out of my child"
*Complaints were left months before investigated.
*my child was caned at school and nothing was done to the teacher. The Legal branch told DOCS to report it to police at they didn't.
*Lies about dates and interviews that never took place.
*Neglect on caring for my son.
*When his mother said she smacked Jason she just got a slap on the wrist and told to try and find some other way to displine, I was confirmed of Physical harm.
*Fabrication of conversations
*Discrimination against me.(or as docs say a Bias attitude towards me)
Alot of this Docs agrees they have done wrong. Alot the Commission say they have done wrong. Alot more i say they have done wrong.
And their whole fix it attitude is to stay out of Jasons life and fix a few administrative issues. And the officer that did all this LIeing and fabrication is still employed by the department to do this to another family.
I am at my wits end it is so stressful on my family but my son is the one who has suffered for years and no one will do anything about it.
I have come to a point where i get my wife to read everything as i get to angry and upset with them.. Even the manager who did the review made judgemnts about my childhood with nothing to back it up. Assumed my wifes job was part of a NEWstart SCheme ( which it isn't) Got names and dates mixed up. If a child in High School handed in such a shabby report they would get it thrown back at them.
Again written with a Bias..Leaving out bits of mt sons mothers background that would look bad, but made sure they put in all my childhood midhaps. Even backdating the repot to September 1999 to make it look like it was completed earlier. Even though a phone call just 2 weeks ago to DOCS confirmed that it had not been completed as yet.
I have complained to everyone.
Minister (Lo'PO), Carmel Niland, Ombudsmen, Commission, all say they have done wrong. They only place i have not been is court.
I HATE DOCS AND WHAT THEY HAVE DONE TO MY SON AND ME. WHY? Want to comment on this? HAVE YOUR SAY |
