You asked in this section for data: breast-feeding. I can help with that if you want. My son
who is 16 months old now was breast-fed exclusively until he was about 6 months. He was born weiging 8 pounds, 14 ounces
and was 22 inches tall. He weighs about 25 pounds now and is a little over 3 feet tall.
For about the first 6 to nine months, he was gaining about a pound a month and growing about an inch a month.
Well, he's still growing about an inch a month, but his weight gain has leveled off (though he has a voracious appetite -
and yes, i still nurse him (although he nurses now more for the closeness, comfort, and snuggle factor)
I don't have his growth chart with me, but I can forward the exact measurements
later if you want.
I was horrified to read what happened. I could not imagine anyone taking my son from me.
