Want to comment on this? HAVE YOUR SAY James from Australia I really think that these people should be HELPed, even if there is any case of shaken baby they still need to be involved in the process of treatment of *THEIR* baby. I was recently in Westmead childrens hospital with my son David who had fallen out the window of my moving car (he was in a seatbelt but hes 2 and got out and went out the window) The DOCS interviewed me and were going to CHARGE me as if it is not enough that my son has 2 fractures in his head but in the end they took no action and I was allowed to return to the care of my son. This is how they are supposed to work (yes) if they could see I was just a wanker and negligent then they would have pressed charges.
Should you need any further help with anything please let me know I am happy to help as would my wife Susan. |
Want to comment on this? HAVE YOUR SAY Suzanne Todd from Sydney Australia It would be nice if DoCS could do their investigations before attempting such a drastic action as removing a child from its parent's care.
It would also seem that certainly a part of the medical profession and officers of DoCS see 'shaken baby' syndrome everywhere.
Perhaps they should get their facts straight first before destroying yet another family.

And why are DoCS only consulting with medical 'professionals' who have a vested interested in finding 'shaken baby' syndrome???? Want to comment on this? HAVE YOUR SAY |
