Want to comment on this? HAVE YOUR SAY Ken Freed from Denver, CO 80218 I've been interacting online with Adam Todd since 1997, and have found him to be thoughtful and responsible in his behavior. While I do not yet understand all the details of this tragic case, from what I can ascertain, state officials have totally overstepped their bounds in this incident. Not only do the Todds deserve some kind of official apology, but they deserve compensation for the grief and suffering they have endured at the hads of zelous government agencies, who seem more like gestapo rather than caring child welfare workers. In the United States and I presume in your country, a person is presumed innocent until proven guilty. Apparently, the reverse happened here. Yet perhaps this sad case can become a rallying point for changing government attitudes and behaviors. Let laws be passed and enforced that uphold the rights of parents as well as their children, so a 'rush to judgement' like this cannot happen again in your beautiful land.
